I booked it, we’re going!

…and before they know it, they’re being dragged off again. And loving it.

I live in the inner suburbs of Melbourne, Australia. To state the obvious, I love to visit and learn about other places (shaking a fist at you, Covid!)

Touring through dozens of countries in the past, through Britain, Europe and Asia, I hadn’t travelled for around 15 years until visiting Malaysian Borneo with my husband in 2011.

Since Borneo, we have travelled to Cambodia twice, along with Laos, Thailand and Vietnam. Sri Lanka, Bali, Singapore and China have been our latest exploits in 2019, getting back from China at the end of November – just in the nick of time before Covid-19 was discovered there!

We also have a well-travelled teenager that has been to places that we haven’t: New Zealand, Florida (Space Camp) and South Korea for a self-motivated study trip, especially for teenagers.

I have a Bachelor of Photography (specialising in Illustrative photography) and a Diploma in Graphic Design.

I have recently gained a formal qualification Travel & Tourism, and a certificate in Travel Journalism, and I am now working in the travel industry.
